1. Who we are
Coop Companion is operated by Alpha Sannoh ("we", "us"). We act as the data controller for personal data we collect about users of the Service.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, login credentials.
- Game data: in-game progress, purchases, cosmetics owned, coins and gems balance.
- Support communications: messages you send us.
- Usage and device data: IP address, device/browser identifiers, basic telemetry needed to operate and secure the Service.
Payment details (card number, billing address) are collected and processed by our payment provider Paddle — we do not see or store them.
3. Why we use it
- Creating and managing your account (contract performance).
- Providing game features and saving progress (contract performance).
- Processing purchases via Paddle (contract performance).
- Security, fraud prevention and abuse detection (legitimate interest).
- Improving the Service and fixing bugs (legitimate interest).
- Responding to your support requests (legitimate interest).
- Marketing emails, only where you have opted in (consent).
4. Who we share it with
- Paddle — our Merchant of Record. Paddle processes payments, manages subscriptions, calculates tax and issues invoices.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers — to store data and run the Service.
- Analytics and error-monitoring providers — strictly to operate and improve the Service.
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting) when required.
- Authorities where required by law.
5. International transfers
Where data is transferred outside your country of residence, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions) to protect it.
6. Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it to operate the Service, comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes. When no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymized. Inactive accounts may be deleted after an extended period of inactivity.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. To exercise your rights contact us through the in-app support channel — we respond within one month.
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls and least-privilege practices — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify you of breaches as required by law.
9. Cookies
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and the Service working. We may use analytics cookies to understand usage. You can manage cookies via your browser settings.
10. Children
The Service is not directed at children under the age of digital consent in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect data from such children.
